No. There are no dues to be a band booster member.

If you have someone in the Middle School or High School band or Auxiliary, you are automatically a member.

No. Band Boosters are responsible for the support of all band programs in the Middle and High Schools including marching band, concert bands, jazz bands, auxiliary and other possible band programs such as indoor drumline or winter guard.

Simply put, we are an organization created to support the Goochland Band programs in any way they need.
We are a non-profit organization that raises funds to help offset the needs of the bands; however, we are also responsible for providing volunteers as chaperones, pit crew, sewing, welding and any other skills that will help the bands be successful.

Band fees are used to offset the costs the band incurs every year such as competition costs, uniform needs and show t-shirts to be worn under the uniform.
The Band Boosters are 100% transparent with their financials. Any Band Booster member has access to view financial records. Please contact the Treasurer for more information.

We believe no one should miss an opportunity to participate in a music program.
If you require assistance of any kind, please contact your school’s band director. -
Band is a family affair! Anyone that would like to volunteer is welcome.
We do ask though that anyone that is helping over the age of 18+ please fill out a volunteer background check. It’s free and quick. The link can be found here.

If you are a volunteer at the football games and have signed up and received your vest, you are able to enter the football game free of charge.
Competitions require you to be a volunteer as a chaperone or pit crew member for access.
If you are coming just as a spectator, then you must pay the cost of the event.

If your child needs to leave a competition after a performance, please see the band director directly. They must be signed out in person before being allowed to leave.
